We have been studying Russian for quite a while now and we have always been fascinated by it – the history, culture and language. Classes with Irina have always been fun and we have learnt a lot over the years, as well as making some good friends at Kalinka’s Russian club. We usually had face to face classes but, with Covid 19, we have moved online. Thankfully, Irina has lots of experience of online teaching, since she has students from all over and so we were glad to be able to continue our studies. We have found that our oral communication and comprehension has improved enormously, as we have to focus more. And of course, we still have fun and giggle at our silly mistakes or pronunciation errors!
