I moved to Ireland from Canada and learning Russian has been on my list for a while. My main motivation for doing so is my partner, since it’s the language her family speaks at home, and being able to communicate would go a long way towards a healthy relationship with them! It’s not the easiest of languages to learn, but Irina has been very supportive in getting me to understanding the fundamentals, and being able to make some small conversations in Russian.
