Hi! My name is Seònaid. My Mam, Anne, and I have been studying Russian with Kalinka Language School for several years. We had been doing Russian language classes on our own for a while and we really enjoyed it. But we would often spend too much time making each other laugh and giggling instead of practising our spoken Russian in class! As a solution, Irina suggested that we partner up with David for our classes to help us all with our speaking and pronunciation.

We met David through Irina’s Russian Club and we have become great friends over the years – the Club is such an enjoyable way for us students to get to know each other and practice our Russian.

It is much more fun and rewarding working in a small group – we all put in more effort to speak to each other and while there is still lots of laughing, we are getting more work done. Our Russian is improving faster than before and we’re chatting away in Russian with ease now. Thanks Teacher!
